FAQ
I have a serious food allergy. Is it Safe for me to consume Casse-Cou Chocolates?
Because we do share a production facility with other food vendors, there is a remote possibility that Casse-Cou chocolates contain trace amounts of dairy, wheat or eggs, but none of our ingredients are derived from these. If you have a serious and highly sensitive allergy of any kind, we ask that you kindly alert our team by adding a note to your cart order through the input form. We will reach out to you directly to discuss any concerns.
I want to send Casse-Cou Chocolates as a gift. Can you arrange a custom note?
At Casse-Cou, everything is custom! If you would like your order to include a hand-written card to a loved one, please select the option at checkout and enter your message into the input form. All notes are handwritten on Casse-Cou's stationary.
How should I store my chocolate once it arrives?
Shipping destinations with a climate that consistently reaches above 70º F, we highly suggest having a recipient onsite at the time of delivery in order to preserve the integrity of our product. Casse-Cou Chocolates can be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. If refrigerated, the maximum experience and flavor should be enjoyed within 2 weeks. Chocolates can also be frozen for extended periods of time.
How can I purchase Casse-Cou to resell at my store?
Because we are a newly launched company, we are not yet selling Casse-Cou Chocolates wholesale – but we plan to do so going forward! We encourage you to reach out to our team at info@cassecouchocolate.com if interested in having Casse-Cou among your retail inventory.
Do you cater or accommodate large orders for events, parties, etc.?
We would love to be a part of your special event or party, and can accommodate custom orders on a large scale when given enough time in advance. If you are interested in having Casse-Cou Chocolate at your next gathering, please contact us with details so that we can reach out directly.
What is your shipping policy?
Casse-Cou chocolates are made fresh weekly in small batches, and we ship out each order every Wednesday. Incoming orders for the nearest shipping date must be placed before Tuesday, 2pm EST, in order to have your chocolates shipped out the following day.
To guarantee the best possible preservation of each order, we strongly encourage choosing the overnight shipping method if your climate is above 70º F. Cold packs are automatically added to packaging throughout the summer months, resulting in higher shipping fees. For this reason, we can only accommodate orders over $50 for the time being. To learn more, visit our Shipping Policy page.
My order hasn't arrived in the shipping time frame I selected. Where is my chocolate?
We ship orders out on every Wednesday, and only orders that have been placed by 2 pm the previous day, Tuesday, will be shipped out. Orders placed after that timeframe will be sent the following Wednesday. Please take this into account when placing your order. If your chocolates have still not arrived by the estimated date of arrival, please check the shipping and tracking information that was sent to you upon purchase. At that point, if you have questions about the status of your shipment, you can reach out to the shipping carrier directly to get more details.
